AJ Montero Joins Miami Studio of Perkins&Will as Health Practice Leader

The Miami studio of Perkins&Will welcomes AJ Montero as Health Practice Leader—a strategic role that will ensure the growth of the studio’s already strong capabilities in hospital and healthcare design.

Montero has designed, directed, and managed the development of complex building projects for some of the world’s top healthcare institutions, including Cleveland Clinic, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Ministry of Health Kuwait. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.

“AJ’s leadership will advance Perkins&Will’s human-centered design approach for healthcare in Miami and across the U.S. Southeast,” says Lawrence Kline, managing director of Perkins&Will’s Miami studio. “He was a design intern in my previous firm where his talent and passion for architecture were evident! Now, after many years of global leadership, we are fortunate to have AJ join us to lead, champion, and expand our health practice toward even greater success.”
