New Hampshire Allows Reopening of Indoor Restaurant Seating, Recreational Retail

Indoor seating at restaurants as well as a number of other select retail businesses have been greenlit to reopen in New Hampshire, according to a statement from Governor Chris Sununu June 15.

At the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, restaurants in the state were allowed to offer delivery and curbside service. Outdoor seating at restaurants was permitted to resume in mid-May. Both indoor and outdoor seating at restaurants are required to set up tables six feet apart, and restaurants are limited to 50 percent capacity.

Additionally, a number of recreational retail activities have also been given the go-ahead to reopen, including museums, art galleries, libraries, bowling alleys, billiards halls, gyms, pools, wedding venues, motor speedways and funeral homes. Performing arts centers and amusement parks are anticipated to reopen June 29.
