New Data Center Coming to AllianceTexas
Stack Infrastructure, Hillwood and IPI Partners formed a joint venture to develop a hyperscale data center at AllianceTexas in Fort Worth. Upon completion, the campus will deliver 400-plus megawatts of dedicated critical power, replicating the current capacity of the entire Dallas-Fort Worth region.
The venture builds on the original partnership between Hillwood and IPI Partners in developing 400 acres of the 26,000-acre AllianceTexas, for data-center construction. Stack Infrastructure launched on Jan. 15, 2019 to develop and expand data centers that are, so far, in six U.S. markets.
Ty Miller with Stack indicated that AllianceTexas “checks all of the critical site-selection boxes . . . with massive scale, pad-ready locations and tremendous power capacity immediately available.” He added that the combination of tax incentives and lower power rates means Stack and Alliance “can deliver a total cost of occupancy and agility value proposition that is hard to beat in any major market .”
