New Dallas Apartment Tower Rents Start at $11,500

The Galatyn residential tower in Dallas will start accepting tenants next month. And when it does, renters will sign leases with rents ranging from $11,500 to $24,000 a month. The Dallas Business Journal reports the average rent will be about $21,400 per month — excluding two top-floor penthouses. For comparison, the average rent for an apartment in Dallas right now is $1,576.

Located at 3030 Monticello Ave., the 20-story building features 56 apartments ranging from 2,100 to 3,400 square feet and averaging 2,700 square feet.

StreetLights is developing the project with a construction pricetag of $73 million, or about $1.3 million a unit.

There are three units per floor, each with a private terrace.

Amenities include a fitness studio, infrared sauna, private bar, a library and study with a tea and coffee bar, a sunroom and a large pool with lounge and cabana seating. The pool also features grills and a pizza oven. 24-hour valet and concierge service will also be available.
