Southerleigh Brewing Co. announced a new brewery in Brooks, located on San Antonio’s southeast side. The restaurant and brewery is already open and operative in San Antonio’s Pearl Street development. The second location, to be located off Sidney Brooks, east of South New Braunfels, will open in summer 2019. The brewery will be in addition to the restaurant that Southerleigh is planning for Brooks, which it announced in summer 2017.

The new brewery, measuring 6,000 square feet, will include a 40-seat tap room and additional outdoor seating. The brewery will also offer tour facilities, and will be adjacent to a tasting room, which will be redeveloped from a 1940s chapel.

Gomez Vazquez International (GVI) Architects is leading the design. Renderings for the project were created by AR3D. Urbanika Group is the real estate developer behind the project.
