New Braunfels River Mill to get moving

New Braunfels River Mill to Start Taking Shape

Casey Development is taking the first step towards creating its vision of a new mixed-use project in New Braunfels. The company is demolishing most of the old mill that has been just sitting there, vacant and graffiti strewn. This is leading to a new mixed-use project that Casey Development is constructing. The firm closed on the River Mill property in July of last year.

The development firm is working with Gensler Austin in order to create a mixed-use development; the project will consist of residential, restaurant, bar, retail and hotel developments.

Demolition is set to continue for anywhere between 60 to 90 days. The firm hopes construction will begin either by the end of this year or the start of the following year. Casey expects the construction process to take two and a half years.
