New Braunfels Industrial Market Popping
New Braunfels is experiencing significant growth in the multifamily sector. While nearby San Antonio has seen inventory and rates decline, New Braunfels posted 4.2% growth, according to MRI ApartmentData. And more often than not, other commercial real estate ventures will follow. San Antonio’s Koontz Corp is building a 188-acre super site nearby, and Chick-fil-a is also planning a nearby distribution center.
CLX Ventures broke ground on New Braunfels Commerce Center, an industrial complex that will deliver 651,010 square feet of warehouse space northeast of New Braunfels. Construction is slated to wrap in spring 2024.
The 46.7-acre development is located on Goodwin Lane, with access to Interstate 35 and Highway 46.
Houston-based Arch-Con Corporation is the contractor on the development, designed by Powers Brown Architecture, also from Houston.
The project is a spec development with four buildings between 130,000 and 205,000 square feet in size, and between 180 and 240 feet in depth.
Leasing on the property has already begun and is being managed by Kevin Cosgrove and Adam Green with Stream Realty Partners.
Connect Texas Multifamily 2023 will take place on Aug. 22, 2023 at Virgin Hotel in Dallas. Click here for more information and to register.
