388-Unit MF Community Comes to Bowie 

St. John Properties, Inc. and Somerset Companies LLC have unveiled Aspen at Melford Town Center, a 388-unit multifamily community in Bowie, Maryland.  

The $150 million development features studio, one-, and two-bedroom units, ranging from 507 to 1,490 square feet, with amenities like a fitness center, pet spa, and a resort-style pool. Designed for LEED Gold certification, the community includes energy-efficient features and a rooftop solar array. 

“There remains a pressing need for high-quality housing in Maryland and throughout the country, and our team has collectively delivered a world-class residential community. The Aspen at Melford Town Center combines highly-modernized amenities with an unparalleled location, providing access to three major metropolitan areas,” said St. John Properties president and CEO Larry Maykrantz. The project, managed by Bozzuto Management, was completed by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and designed by Architects Collaborative with interiors by Aumen Asner, Inc.
