Netflix to Increase Presence in Hollywood, Again
Netflix is expanding its footprint in Hollywood again. The giant video-streaming company reportedly inked a pair of leases totaling nearly 170,000 square feet at two different properties.
The latest deals include 100,000 square feet at 817 Vine St. (pictured), where a campus is being developed by LPC West on a site formerly owned by the Musician’s Union of Hollywood. Netflix also plans to sublease nearly 70,000 square feet at 1350 N. Western Ave. owned by LaTerra Development and Gemdale USA.
The Los Gatos, CA-based firm now claims roughly 1.6 million square feet of space in SoCal. That includes plans to occupy 355,000 square feet at Kilroy Realty’s under-development mixed-use Academy on Vine complex, as well 328,000 square feet at Hudson Pacific Properties Inc.’s 13-story Epic tower on Sunset Boulevard.
