Net-Leased Gerber Collision Property in Illinois Trades Hands

Marcus & Millichap completed the sale of 5840 W. Ogden Ave., an 18,620-square-foot, net-leased Gerber Collision & Glass property in Cicero, Illinois.

“This transaction provided the buyer with a newly renovated property backed by a new 15-year corporate lease with an established national, publicly traded tenant,” said Lior Regenstreif, executive managing director of investments. “The property’s location along Ogden Avenue in one of Illinois’ most densely populated communities supports recurring demand for automotive repair services and contributes to its appeal as a long-term 1031 exchange investment.”

Regenstreif, based in Marcus & Millichap’s Encino office, in association with Steven Weinstock, Marcus & Millichap’s Illinois broker of record, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, the property’s developer. The buyer was a 1031 exchange investor.

Originally built in 1967, the former industrial building was recently renovated in 2025 through 2026 into a Gerber Collision & Glass location. The property is situated on 1.53 acres and is leased to Gerber under a new 15-year, corporate-guaranteed, triple-net lease.
