Neiman Marcus Placing Longview, Irving Distribution Centers on the Market
Neiman Marcus Group, headquartered in Dallas, announced its intent to put two of its Texas distribution centers up for sale. The facilities, in Longview and Irving, are part of a series of decisions being made by the company “to deliver accelerated profitable and sustainable growth” in its efforts to maintain and grow its luxury customer base, according to a company statement. To that end, the retailer is shuttering its “Last Call” off-price chain.
The Longview center, at 2301 Neiman Marcus Pkwy. in the Longview Business Park, is 447,772 square feet. The center opened in 1994, and expanded the premises in 2003. Further east, the 491,308-square-foot Dallas-area distribution center at 111 Customer Way was built in 1988. “The anticipated reinvestment in the company’s supply chain will ensure (it) remains on the cutting edge of product distribution,” the company statement said.
