NE Dallas Exurb Farmersville Site for New Rental Community
Texas developers are now building in suburbs of suburbs. Farmersville, Texas (population 3,612) is about 40 NE of Dallas, about 20 miles east of Plano and Frisco. It’s best known for being the home of WWII war hero Audie Murphy, and onions. And now, Farmersville will be the location Ethos Property Development chooses to build a $39.2 million, 290-unit apartment complex called Fountainview.
The project will have one- to three-bedroom units across ten two- and three-story buildings. Units will range from 620 to 1,340 square feet. Monthly rents will average $1,350.
Amenities will include a pool, dog park, and outdoor cooking areas. A one-acre pond with a fountain will be the project’s centerpiece.
Ethos, a partnership between Myers Picard Property Development and Consilium Properties, purchased the 17.5-acre site at the corner of Princeton Ave. and Harvard Blvd. in December 2020.
The first apartments will be available in spring 2024 with full buildout expected in early 2025.
