Little Switzerland NC resort sells for $16M

NC Mountain Retreat Sells for $15.6M


MMI acquired Little Switzerland, a historic hotel in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. The 70-room resort and residential housing portfolio was sold for $15.65 million.

Switzerland Inn, a full-service resort in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, spans 14 acres and is located at the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. In addition to the inn, two nearby residential houses—each with three bedrooms—were included in the sale. Its third-generation family owners maintain the properties near Crabtree Falls, Pisgah National Forest, The Orchard at Altapass, Lake James State Park, Grandfather Mountain and The Biltmore Estate.

McLean Hicklin led a Marcus & Millichap’s team on behalf of the seller and found the buyer.
