NBCUniversal Opens $250M Telemundo Center in Miami

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises cut the ribbon on Telemundo Center, a new $250-million global headquarters in Miami. The innovative 500,000-square-foot, next-generation, multimedia production facility houses news, sports, entertainment, studios, and international and digital businesses all under one roof. The network had been headquartered in Hialeah, FL for 30 years.

The 21-acre property has the capacity to house 1,500 employees, and is envisioned as an epicenter of Hispanic activity and the leading authority on the fastest-growing demographic. The new state-of-the-art facility enables unmatched capacity to create high quality, original Spanish-language content to satisfy the diverse appetites of today’s U.S. Latinos.

Telemundo Center has 15 highly adaptive studios, including two digital studios, virtual and augmented-reality sets, and a state-of-the-art news operation that provides unrivaled flexibility to produce content. Modern workspaces and activity-based work stations are features of an open plan design that utilizes cutting-edge technology to spark innovation, generate powerful experiences, and foster creative energy and cross-business ideation and collaboration.

About Dennis Kaiser

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis is a communications leader with more than 40 years of experience including as a journalist and in corporate and agency marketing communications roles. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
