NBA Stays Put on Fifth Avenue

Less than a week after Major League Baseball announced its headquarters consolidation at 1271 Avenue of the Americas, its basketball counterpart, the National Basketball League (NBA), opted to stay put at its Fifth Avenue headquarters. The league extended its 175,000-square-foot lease at 645 Fifth Ave. through 2035.

The league has played its game at the 419,000-square-foot tower for several decades. Oxford Properties Group and Crown Acquisitions owns the building, also known as Olympic Tower. The NBA has the 13th through 20th floors.

Adam Frazier represented Oxford in-house, along with Paul Amrich, Howard Fiddle, Neil King and Patrice Meagher of CBRE. Mary Ann Tighe, Gregory Tosko, Andrew Sussman and Munish Viralam, also with CBRE, represented the NBA.
