Nauset Breaks Ground on East Boston MXU Project

Nauset Construction has broken ground on EBO condominiums, a 49-unit mixed-use project in East Boston. The project is being developed by Woburn-based developer Joseph Nogueira, principal at Charter Development.

Located at 205 Maverick St., the project will consist of 49 condominium units as well as 3,630 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The project is nearby the MBTA Blue Line Maverick station and has a walk score of 91. The Maverick Street Market will occupy one of the three newly constructed retail spaces. The project was designed by architectural firm Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype Inc.

“EBO condominiums is designed to fit in seamlessly with the character of the existing neighborhood, while providing much-needed housing to the City of Boston, including seven affordable units, in close proximity to public transportation,” said Nogueira. “And bringing back the market and laundromat in upgraded space ensures that they will be able to continue to serve the community for years to come.”
