Natural Grocers, San Antonio, Part 2

Less than a year after Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage planted its stake in San Antonio, the Colorado-based specialty grocer will be ready to open its second location in the Alamo Heights neighborhood. The 15,000-square-foot store at 6514 N. New Braunfels Ave. is anticipated to open in spring. The company opened its current location at 11310 N.W. Military Hwy. in San Antonio in June of last year.

The grocery retailer leased the 0.97-acre site in early December 2015. The landlord was listed as San Antonio-based Johnstown Properties Ltd., a build-to-suit developer. The company is seeking out new positions for the location.

Another Natural Grocers store will open in Longview, TX, by mid-January.
