Nationals’ Principal Owner Buys $65M Multifam in NY Mets’ Spring Stomping Grounds
Rockville, MD-based Lerner Enterprises — which is owned by Mark Lerner, principal owner of Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals — has purchased a 200-unit multifamily in Port Saint Lucie, FL for $65 million ($325,000 per unit at a 4% cap rate).
Rosewood Realty Group Aaron Jungreis of Rosewood Realty Group represented both the buyer and the seller, Miami, FL-based JSB Capital.
Lerner Parc at Gatlin Commons encompasses six, three-story buildings on 14.37 acres at 1900 Aledo Lane in the Newport Isle neighborhood. The pet friendly, elevator complex features a pool, fitness center, pet play area and basketball court for monthly rents range from $1,800 to $2,970.
Sources did not indicate whether any NY Mets players were springtime residents of Lerner Park at Gatlin Commons.
