National Governors Association Renews Office Lease at Hall of States

The National Governors Association has signed a 12-year, 23,000-square-foot lease renewal at the Hall of States, a 609,000-square-foot office building in Washington D.C.’s central business district.

Located at 400 N. Capitol St. NW, the eight-story office building was built in 1976. The space that the association currently occupies will be renovated and upgraded. Other tenants at the building include ox News, C-SPAN and the U.S. Department of the Interior. The National Governors Association has approximately 120 employees.

Wendy Feldman Block and David Cornbrooks of Savills’ D.C. office represented the tenant in the transaction. The owner of the building is MEBA Benefit Plans.
