Kittle Property Group is looking to build an expansive multifamily community not far from Samsung’s semiconductor factory in North Austin. In a public filing, the company is looking to build a project with 12 buildings, a clubhouse and nine garage buildings just two miles from the factory. Kittle expects the project to cost $31.4 million. For the planned 363,000 square foot project that comes out to about $87 a square foot to build. They expect to get going on the project this fall and hope to complete it in 2025. In the filing Kittle says they will develop and manage the project.

Kittle Property Group, most well-known for building affordable housing, is not the only group trying to capitalize on the huge chip factory just miles away. New York developer Reger Holdings is looking to build out EastVillage, a $1 billion, 425-acre master-planned community, across the road from the current Samsung plant.
