Nashville Developers Building Mixed-Use Project on Risky Lot
Building on irregular lots does not always work. One local developer likes the challenge. The Nashville Business Journal reports Jared Bradley, from 1300 4th Avenue Partners, says the triangle lot they are building an apartment project on provides opportunities to be creative. The project will also include a 5,700-square-foot retail component.
The development is wedged between Fourth Avenue and a portion of the neighborhood’s railroad tracks.
The project, with a main address of 1300 Fourth Ave. S., will include a four-story, stick-frame building with 134 residential units, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, as well as the retail space.
The apartment building will offer various amenities like a swimming pool, spa area, fitness center, screened-in porch area and several lounge spaces.
The total project cost is estimated to be $42 million.
The developers expect to break ground on Dec. 1. A 24-month construction timeline is expected.
