Nashville's Bexley Stockyards apartments trade for $114M

Nashville-Area Apartments Trade for $335K/Unit

Weinstein Properties paid $114.57 million for the Bexley Stockyards apartments in Germantown, outside Nashville. The sale was accompanied by a $67.5 million loan from Western-Southern Life Assurance Company.

The Nashville Business Journal reports the seller was Chicago-based ShopCore Properties, who bought the apartment complex at 222 Stockyard St. in 2020 for $105 million from Phoenix-based Alliance Residential Co.

With 342 units, the Germantown apartment’s sale price is $335,000 per unit.

Nashville-based Walker & Dunlop represented the seller in the transaction.

Bexley Stockyards, which opened in 2020 as Broadstone Stockyards, offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The apartment complex’s three buildings, which are attached by a pedestrian bridge, are located across the street from First Horizon Park.
