NAIOP SoCal’s Night at the Fights Thrills Sold Out Crowd

NAIOP SoCal’s Night at the Fights 2019 proved to once again be the premier Southern California commercial real estate event, as nearly 1,000 CRE professionals came out on May 9 to watch two professional MMA bouts and two Real Estate Rumble boxing matches.

The sold-out event, held at the Hotel Irvine, was an entertaining evening inspired by a circus theme that came to life with acrobats, contortionists, fortune teller, magician, stilt walker and aerialists. This year’s event featured two Real Estate Rumble boxing matches with Stephen Madigan of Kidder Mathews pitted against Jerry Fink of The Bascom Group, LLC, and Nima Namdar of Howard Building Corp. fighting Jonathan Giannola of Marcus & Millichap. The boxers kept the crowd on their feet to see who would win. The evening’s champions included Madigan and Namdar. (Check out the pictures below of the night, and look for a video recap of the event produced by Connect CREative in the coming days.)

Along with the sports entertainment, the event featured a $10,000 check presentation to the Building Block Foundation Fund, a non-profit that combines financial and human resources from the real estate community to support programs to help disadvantaged children in Orange County.
