NAIOP SoCal Slates Three Industry Bouts for Annual Night at the Fights

For the first time in NAIOP SoCal Night at the Fights’ history, six professionals from the commercial real estate industry will square off in the ring during three industry bouts. The black-tie gala Night at the Fights will be held Sept. 21 at the OC Fair & Event Center, Hangar Building in Costa Mesa. More than 1,000 CRE professionals are expected to attend.

The three industry bouts include a lightweight match between Kevin Lao of CenterPoint Properties, and Trevor Hanson of Triten Real Estate Partners; a middleweight match between David Sarnoff of PSRS and Sam Overton of Capital One; and a heavyweight match between Justin Brown, Nuhome Team Mortgage Lending, and Chris Martinez of Pivot Interiors. The evening will also include one professional boxing match.

“Each year we reach out to the commercial real estate industry to invite Southern California amateurs to step into the ring,” said Tim Jemal, CEO, NAIOP SoCal. “Now we have six industry pros who are training hard before their battles. These bouts bring a whole new level of excitement to the night, which is why we expect to sell out again this year.”
