NAIOP SoCal Real Estate Rumble Another ‘Knock-Out’

On April 26, NAIOP SoCal held its annual Night at the Fights event. A sold-out crowd of nearly 1,000 commercial real estate professionals experienced the Clash of the Gladiators at Hotel Irvine and the second annual Real Estate Rumble. This year’s Real Estate Rumble pitted Kidder Mathews’ Mark Vanis against Lee & Associates’ Chuck Campbell, and Lee & Associates’ Dale Camera vs. Marcus & Millichap’s Andrew Irvine.

Along with the Real Estate Rumble battle that puts commercial real estate professionals in the ring to do battle, Night at the Fights also featured exciting professional title-level boxing and MMA battles.

From the beginning, guests experienced the visual of living-Greek statues and enjoyed pre-event cocktails and networking. Soon guests moved to the ballroom for the main event. While the battles were fierce, the Real Estate Rumble champions were Campbell, awarded light-heavyweight champion, and Irvine, now two-time heavyweight champion. These fighters experienced weeks of training (check out Connect Media’s video) to gain entry to the ring. It was an exciting and historic battle.

The evening also featured casino games, live music and lots of networking and post-dinner cigar smoking. NAIOP SoCal was also pleased to present a check for $10,000 to Building Block Foundation Fund.
