NAIOP SoCal Appoints First-Ever Chief Executive Officer
The Southern California chapter of NAIOP appointed Timothy “Tim” Jemal as its first chief executive officer. Jemal brings 30 years of experience in all aspects of association management, government relations advocacy, fundraising and communications to his role representing more than 1,000 members across Los Angeles and Orange counties.
NAIOP SoCal president Pamela Westhoff says, “We are in the midst of historic times in so many ways, and this is when we need a more visible leadership role. We must be more adaptable, more efficient and find ways to implement real change for the better, in all aspects of our personal and professional lives. I am confident that Tim is the right person to lead our chapter through what is already shaping up to be a very challenging decade.”
Among the priorities identified by Jemal to address include bolstering NAIOP SoCal’s legislative advocacy, promoting a talent pipeline that fosters youth and diversity, continuing to offer top-notch programs and modernizing the association’s operations.
