The first-ever NAIOP SoCal Awards Gala has landed an Emmy-award-winning host in actress Laura Wright. NAIOP SoCal, the leading voice for commercial real estate in Southern California, will celebrate the best of commercial real estate during the Gala event.

Feeling lucky? Want to celebrate a colleague? Want to celebrate a rival – taking the high road? Nominations for the awards close EOD Friday (March 11). 

Wright is best known for roles on daytime dramas “Loving”, “The City” and “Guiding Light”. She received the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2011 for her role as Carly Corinthos on “General Hospital”. 

The nominations (and eventual winners) will land in these categories: Developer of the Year, Broker of the Year, Deal of the Year, Service Provider of the Year, Multifamily Project of the Year, Industrial Project of the Year, Office Project of the Year, Retail Project of the Year, Interior Project of the Year, Mixed-Use Project of the Year, Redevelopment/Renovation of the Year, Sustainable Project of the Year, Investor of the Year, Developing Leader of the Year, Diversity and Inclusion Award and Community Impact Project of the Year. 

Two awards will be decided during the ceremony – adding a touch of drama for Ms Wright and NAIOP.
