NAI Hiffman Reps Buyer, Seller of Elk Grove Village Industrial

There’s still time to register for Connect Industrial, taking place on July 11 in Chicago. Here’s a link for more information about the conference and to register.

Two separate NAI Hiffman teams represented buyer and seller in a 50,688-square-foot industrial sale at 2483 Greenleaf Ave. in Elk Grove Village, IL. Deal terms weren’t disclosed.

The firm’s Terry Herlihy and Shane Murphy represented the seller, Randall Metals Corporation, while Joe Bronson and Brian Chandler represented the buyer, YMI Group. Buyer and seller both operate mechanical construction businesses.

YMI has big plans for the new space. The property’s new owner has already commissioned the construction of a custom 72-inch Slitter line with a 50,000-pound capacity that will accelerate its production. The machine will be installed at 2483 Greenleaf upon completion.

NAI Hiffman’s industrial brokers have been especially active on the leasing front in recent weeks. The firm reported no fewer than five industrial leases in June, along with an assignment from Duke Realty to market the space at a speculative complex under construction in central DuPage County.
