Museum of Illusions to Open in Downtown Seattle
The Museum of Illusions will celebrate the grand opening of its first-ever Washington location, in the heart of Downtown Seattle. Located in the Skinner Building at 1330 5th Avenue, the Museum of Illusions will feature over 9,000 square feet of holograms, illusion rooms and exhibits.
“We’re thrilled to have earned this commitment from the Museum of Illusions, and we’re so pleased to bring a globally recognized, one-of-a-kind interactive museum experience to the historic Skinner Building,” said Janel Jensen, Unico Properties Director, Retail Leasing. Built in 1926 and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Skinner Building is an eight-story, 216,000-square-foot historical building.
“The Museum of Illusions has found the perfect home in Seattle, a city deeply celebrated for its trailblazing technology, innovation and curiosity,” said Kim Schaefer, CEO of Museum of Illusions. “With this month’s opening, we’re thrilled to welcome Seattle residents and tourists of all ages to come out and experience the seemingly impossible.”
