Murrieta’s Mitchell Crossing Making Way for Apartments

Mitchell Crossing in Murrieta, a plot of land just under 11.8 acres, was recently sold by Melia Homes to a division of MBK Homes. The deal was brokered by CBRE’s Paul Runkle and Rachel Parsons.

Mitchell Crossing is entitled for 230 one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments. MBK Homes Vice President of Acquisitions, Craig Jones, said, “[We] will have the opportunity to deliver resort-style living with luxury interior finishes at a quality level above what is currently available with comparable apartments in the area.”

Melia Homes will hold onto an adjacent parcel that is planned for 50,000 square feet of neighborhood retail. Another nearby parcel is slated to become 80 private paired homes.

Mitchell Crossing is close to schools, retail and the Loma Linda University Medical Center.
