Murphy Plans Salvation Army BTS Facility in Otay Mesa
San Diego-based Murphy Development Company (MDC) plans to build a two-building facility for The Salvation Army in San Diego’s Otay Mesa area. The site is within Brown Field Technology Park, a 52-acre corporate industrial and office park that flanks SR-905 at Britannia Boulevard.
The Salvation Army will relocate from its two downtown San Diego facilities in Q1 2021. The build-to-suit facility will include an 85,000-square-foot industrial building and a 45,000-square-foot support services building.
MDC will also build two additional industrial buildings at Brown Field Technology Park, including a 103,662-square-foot building (Building A), and a 124,326-square-foot building (Building C).
Murphy Development’s R. Michael Murphy says, “Brown Field Technology Park offers potential tenants state-of-the-art design, large setbacks, impeccable corporate image and landscaping coupled with San Diego’s lowest occupancy costs.”
