Murphy Asset Management has expanded its team as the company’s portfolio and client base continue to grow. Elie Khoury, formerly EVP of Operations for Aimbridge Hospitality, joins Murphy as a Managing Director, bringing 30 years of experience managing large portfolios, brand relations, new builds, and transitions.

Khoury’s client base spans REITs, private equity firms, pension funds, investment groups, and institutional lenders. Previous operational positions held include multiple leadership roles with Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Khoury currently serves as the First Vice President of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association. Previously, he was an integral contributor as the President of the Oakland, California CVB, to the rebranding of the city of Oakland and developed social programs to promote the downtown district.
