Multifamily Veteran Zaleski Joins NKF Capital Markets

Stephen Zaleski (pictured) has joined NKF’s Capital Markets group as CIO of the firm’s newly-created Multifamily Investment Advisory business. He’ll lead efforts to advise clients on multifamily acquisitions, asset management and dispositions, working with the firm’s existing partners and developing new relationships to provide equity solutions and sourcing acquisition and recapitalization opportunities.

“We are excited to have a professional with Steve’s depth of experience and impressive track record join the team,” said NKF’s Anthony Orso. “Stephen’s hiring demonstrates our commitment to expanding our multifamily capabilities to complement our growing multifamily sales and related debt businesses.”

Before joining NKF, the 33-year CRE veteran served for 10 years as head of the multifamily group for CBRE Global Investors. After founding the group in 2008, he led the company’s U.S. multifamily development and investment businesses for all its funds and separate client accounts, also serving on the firm’s Americas Leadership Board.
