Multi-Year TAWA Gateway Redevelopment Completes First Phase

Commercial real estate development and management company Sunny Skies Terrace has completed the first phase of a multi-year redevelopment of TAWA Gateway in San Gabriel. As part of Phase One, 14 new food, entertainment, and lifestyle retailers are coming online in 2026 and through early 2027.

“TAWA Gateway is more than a redevelopment project—it’s an investment in the future of the San Gabriel Valley,” said Jonson Chen, chairman, Sunny Skies Terrace. “As the San Gabriel Valley continues to evolve, we want TAWA Gateway to be a place where residents and visitors alike can gather, connect, and experience the very best the community has to offer.”

Anchored by 99 Ranch Market, TAWA Gateway welcomes nearly three million visitors annually, according to Sunny Skies Terrace. In the coming months, the center will continue to make capital improvements and renovations. Businesses will remain open during this period.
