Multi-Year Renovations Launched at Central TX’s Largest Apartment Complex
Riata Austin, the largest apartment community in Central Texas, is undergoing an extensive, multi-year renovation intended to modernize its more than 2,000 residences and increase its offering of resort-style amenities and programming. The upgrades are being overseen by Greystar.
The upgrades represent the first major renovation for the 180-acre complex that was developed by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and a group of local investors beginning in the late 1990s. They occur as demand for high-end apartments in North Austin has increased in recent years, with major employers such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Oracle, HomeAway and Indeed expanding nearby.
“Riata’s public spaces and on-site activities have always been the heart of our unique community – and a key reason people choose to live here,” said Nikki Gavarrete, a district manager with Greystar, which oversees Riata. “These renovations build on those strengths.”
