M&T Realty Provides $2M for Baltimore Affordable Housing Property 

M&T Realty Capital Corporation has provided a $2 million Freddie Mac Targeted Affordable Housing Tax-Exempt Loan for the preservation and rehabilitation of Bon Secours Apartments in Baltimore, MD. The 119-unit affordable housing property utilizes 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to support the project. 

Located at 1800 Hollins Street, Bon Secours Apartments offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable units for rent. Unit amenities include fully equipped kitchens, in-unit washer and dryer, central A/C and heating, and 24-hour emergency maintenance. 

“We are proud to finance the permanent loan for this exciting project in Southwest Baltimore,” said Sandra DeFelice of M&T, who led the transaction, “this transaction utilized numerous funding sources and government partnerships,”
