MRP Realty to Open 12K-SF Food Hall in D.C.
MRP Realty and Westbrook Partners have announced plans to open Western Market, a 12,000-square-foot food hall in Washington D.C.’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood.
Located at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, the food hall project will be named after the original market that stood across the street from the site in the early 1800s. Already announced tenants include fast-casual Israeli concept Shouk, Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls and café, and bakery concept Elle. The food hall is slated to open in late 2020.
The larger mixed-use project at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave. NW will include a number of other dining options such as Bindaas, Duke’s Grocery, Paul, Captain Cookie & the Milkman, and Chipotle. The project is a redevelopment of a 10-story office building.
