Lawrence Movtady’s Movcap investment company has acquired a six-story walk-up building on the Upper West Side for $5.25 million. Located at 211 West 85th St, the property was sold by a long-time private owner. The building features 13 apartments configured as three two-bedroom, one three-bedroom, nine four-bedroom, and a rear yard.
The JLL Capital Markets team representing the seller included Hall Oster and Paul Smadbeck, Teddy Galligan, Conrad Martin and Braedon Gait. “211 West 85th St. stands out from its peers due to a combination of its desirable frontage and tremendous potential. Buyers were also drawn to the building’s distinguished façade and location just off Broadway,” said Oster.
