More Coming to Richardson’s Northside Development

It’s all part of a grand plan that may take 15 years to complete. A 36-acre mixed-use development near The University of Texas at Dallas campus will add more housing and amenities to the area. With approval from the Richardson City Council, Wolverine Interests can now begin work on the project. A rezoning will allow for nearly 3,000 residential units along with office space, retail and restaurant space, hotels, and an event space. The project will be developed in seven sections, the first of which will likely break ground in the next 12-14 months.

Called the Points at Waterview, the project will add to the existing Northside development (see photo), where construction for the UT Dallas DART station is ongoing. The project will increase the number of housing units adjacent to UT Dallas to around 8,200 beds.
