Montessori School Fills Last Retail at Durst’s Via 57 West

Hopscotch Montessori School signed a 20-year lease for the last remaining retail space at the Durst Organization’s Via 57 West. With 6,855 square feet of ground-floor space, Hopscotch joins a tenant roster on the 57 West residential superblock that also includes Landmark Theatres, Livanos Restaurant Group’s Ousia, AKC Canine Retreat, Hudson Market, HSS Sports, Medicine Institute, I Love Kickboxing, Soul Dental Anthology Wine & Spirits and Club Pilates.

Founded in Europe, Hopscotch expanded to New York City with a location on the Upper East Side. The Via 57 West space will be its second in Manhattan.

Via 57 anchors the 57 West superblock. Durst’s Helena and Frank towers comprise the rest of the block.

The tenant was represented by Verus Real Estate’s Victoria Bokk. The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Ashlea Aaron and by Lee & Associates NYC’s JP Sutro and Richard Kave.
