Montefiore Expands Hutch Metro Presence to 453k SF

Montefiore Health Systems is expanding its presence at Simone Healthcare Development’s Hutchinson Metro Center in the Bronx, adding a total of 96,500 square feet of office and medical space. The expansion brings the healthcare system’s footprint at Hutch Metro Center to 453,000 square feet.

The 90,000 square feet of additional space at the complex’s Tower One will allow Montefiore to consolidate more clinical and administrative divisions under one roof. The additional 6,500 square feet at the nearby Metro Center Atrium will accommodate additional office and administrative space.

“Simone Healthcare Development and Montefiore have enjoyed a long partnership aimed at meeting the growing needs of one of New York’s leading health care providers and their patients,” said James MacDonald, VP of leasing with Simone Development. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Montefiore as they expand their operations throughout the region.”
