MoneyLion Sublease 35K SF in Chelsea

CBRE recently finalized a sublease deal at 245-249 West 17th Street in Chelsea, with MoneyLion Inc. securing the entire fourth floor, totaling 35,384 square feet. The office space was previously occupied by X Corp, formerly Twitter.

CBRE’s team represented X Corp in the negotiations with a team of William Iacovelli, Sacha Zarba, Lauren Crowley Corrinet, while Eric Ladden of Cornerstone Realty worked with Jason Birk and Steve Marvin of Olmstead Properties to represent MoneyLion. “The space formerly housing X Corp/Twitter was ideal for MoneyLion, given its central location in the heart of Chelsea and the high-end installation already in place,” said Iacovelli. “We are excited that all parties worked together to bring this deal to fruition.”

The property is owned by Columbia Property Trust and includes two interconnected buildings renovated in 2014, with Room & Board occupying the ground floor.
