Momark Teams with Austin to Build Canopy at Westgate Grove

Momark Development has partnered with the city of Austin to build Canopy at Westgate Grove, an 88-unit affordable condominium complex. The property, at 8701 West Gate Blvd. on Austin’s southwest side, will offer units priced between $163,000 and $185,000, which is lower than the median price of approximately $334,000.

The condos are being built in two-story, eightplex buildings, and will range in size from 696 to 988 square feet.

The first condos are scheduled for move-in by spring 2020. Units will be reserved for applicants earning 80% or less of the area’s median family income. This ranges from up to $52,850 for an individual household, to $75,500 for a four-person household. Austin Habitat for Humanity is assisting Momark and the city in buyer selection.
