Moinian to Build 250-Unit Resi Tower in FiDi 

The Moinian Group has begun vertical construction at 7 Platt Street, a 35-story, 250-unit luxury residential development in the Financial District. The project marks one of the last developments in Manhattan under the 421-a program.  

The 170,000-square-foot glass tower will offer a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units, as well as penthouse residences with accompanying lounge areas. Indoor resident amenities include a fitness center, library, work and study pods, lounge spaces, and more. Outdoor spaces feature a rooftop sundeck, garden lounge, movie lounge area, barbeques, and outdoor fitness equipment.  

“Situated in New York City’s most historic and financially revered region, we’re thrilled to be celebrating this vertical construction milestone at 7 Platt, one of the last of its kind developments in Manhattan to be carried out under the 421-a program,” said Matthew Moinian, principal of The Moinian Group. Completion is expected in Q4 2025.
