Moinian Group Inks Office Lease with Valley National Bank

The Moinian Group has completed a long-term, 15,317-square-foot relocation and expansion with Valley National Bank at 245 Fifth Ave. in Midtown South. Valley Bank has approximately $50 billion in assets and more than 200 branch locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Alabama.

“Valley Bank is a high-integrity financial institution that wanted space to relocate its Midtown South headquarters to a quality, well-located building that could accommodate its growth,” said Ted Koltis, EVP of commercial leasing for The Moinian Group. “We are excited to add Valley into our portfolio of tenants.”

As part of the new transaction, Valley will occupy 10,268 square feet on the 22nd floor, and 5,049 square feet on the 15th floor. The bank is expected to move into the new space in the first quarter of 2023. Ownership was represented in-house, while JLL’s Jeff Szczapa and Mike Berg represented the tenant.
