Moinian, Boston Properties Unveil New Design for Far West Side Tower

The Moinian Group and Boston Properties (BXP), developers of 3 Hudson Blvd. in the Hudson Yards district on Manhattan’s Far West Side, unveiled their third design for the 1.85-million-square-foot office tower. Site work is in progress for the long-planned, $3-billion project, which the New York Post reported will top out at just under 1,000 feet with 56 floors.

Seven of those floors will be what the developers call “delighters,” with ceilings as high as 30 feet and terraces. “They are the best products and they ‘delight’ the customers,” BXP’s Richard Monopoli told the Post.

JLL’s Peter Riguardi is overseeing leasing for 3 Hudson Blvd., which is targeted for 2023 completion, the Post reported. Tenants will benefit from the special 20% Hudson Yards tax abatement that will run for 20 years.

“It has to be one of the biggest draws for Hudson Yards,” the Moinian Group’s Joseph Moinian told the Post.
