Modway Expands West Coast Distribution Footprint into Hesperia
Modway Inc. plans to establish a new distribution operation in San Bernardino County. The distributor of living, dining, bedroom, outdoor, lighting and office furniture will open a new one-million-square-foot build-to-suit industrial building at the 200-acre Hesperia Commerce Center One project in Hesperia.
CBRE sold the 60-acre parcel at Interstate 15 and U.S. Route 395 to Philadelphia-based Exeter. CBRE’s Walt Arrington, Darla Longo, Barbara Perrier and Jeff Fritch represented the seller, Dallas-based Covington Group, and its partner M.F. DiScala & Company. Daum Commercial’s Andrew Lara and Gus Andros represented Modway in the lease transaction with Exeter.
The tenant plans to consolidate an existing 310,000-square-foot distribution site in Fontana. The relocation and expansion to Hesperia triples Modway’s West Coast distribution operations helping further scale its business.
Hesperia Commerce Center One will be comprised of three Class A logistics buildings, each of which will provide at least one million square feet of space.
