Moderno to Add Fort Lauderdale Highrise
Moderno Development Group is planning a 290-unit apartment build in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The 23,750-square-foot site will be centered at 500 to 514 S.W. Third Ave. The 500 Art Lofts will include a workforce component of 72 units. Amenities will include a pool deck, a gym, a yoga room, co-working space and a barbecue area.
The 27-story tower will be designed by Dorsky Yue. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
Moderno is currently developing another Fort Lauderdale project on SW 3rd Ave between 4th and 5th St. River Lofts is a $150 Million high rise (29 floors) multifamily project that will include 352 apartment units.
It consists of 48,000-square feet of assembled properties located in the downtown area. Rents will range from $2,100-$3,500. Construction began July 2022 and is expected to be completed by October 2024. The company has built over a half dozen properties in Fort Lauderdale.
