Moderna Selects Alexandria Real Estate Equities to Build New Headquarters

Moderna is investing in a new science center, the 462,000-square-foot Moderna Science Center at 325 Binney St. in Cambridge, to help support its future research and discoveries. Alexandria Real Estate Equities has been chosen to develop, operate, and construct the new building.

The new site is environmentally sustainable, and will help support the company’s growth as it continues to advance the pipeline of mRNA medicines. Construction has begun, and the company is expected to begin a phased move-in process in 2023.

JLL represented Moderna in the search for its science center.
