Mixed-Income Apartments Coming to Austin

A joint venture of The Geyser Group and The Sephira Group heads up the project. The housing will vary from market rate to households earning 30% of the median family income level in the area. Half of Real Street Apartments will be affordable housing.

The Real Street Apartments are expected to rise on two lots at 2824 and 2826 Real Street, east of Campbell Elementary.

The project will be 286,102 square feet and consist of 286 units, constructed across two buildings. One of the buildings will have 60 units, the other 226.

The building housing the 60 units will be operated by Family Eldercare, an Austin-based nonprofit that provides housing, health and wellness and advocacy and outreach services for older adults and people with disabilities. The 60 units will serve as permanent supportive housing.
